The fundamental approach to what we generally call a work of art begins at a consideration of the same as a 'creative property'. This operates within two concerns: one, creativity as a phenomenon of the nature of man and two, the individual as a social being. The creative property will be structured around her/his beliefs about man, matters and the eternal, her/his experiences and certain aspects that form our life, culture and the art world. All these provide the reference and standpoints. The result is a relationship between these and emerges through a 'transfiguration'. The work then becomes a word, a sentence, a conjecture or a conversation. Sometimes it may be characterized as critical and at other times as reflective or it may remain a simple relative context.
